Office Chairs and Castors Choice

May 16th, 2008 Posted in Uncategorized

I was asked by a client if I could find an office furniture solution to a problem they were having in their home office after they had bought some office screens from us. The type of flooring was allowing their office chairs to scoot about the floor. They were looking at using chair mats, which are not cheap, or very easing to the eye. The best solution for all was to fit braking castors or rubberised tyred castors to the leather office chairs.

The braking office chair castors ensure when the user sits on the chair it does not move. The only draw back with that is if you need to move slightly over to another area of your office desk you need to take your weight off the seat.

The rubberised castor have more grip than your standard plastic castor, and allows movement whilst sitting on the chair. These are as you can imagine most useful in the home office environment, due to the different surfaces we have in our houses.
